The April
18th meeting of IEAHC was called to order at 6:00
PM by President Kari Gondry, and was held at the
North Argonne Library.
Our guest speaker, Ken Carmichael from The
Backcountry Horsemen started things out with an
informative and fun presentation. The topic
covered
different situations you may come across on the
trail and how to deal with them. Everyone got
involved, which made it fun.
Treasurer's Report: Lois was absent, so none was
given.
Old Business: We discussed keeping the Shriner's
Hospital as our primary beneficiary. The new
Horsemen's Park in Cle Elem was also discussed.
Sounds like it will be a beautiful place.
There will not be a meeting in May because of our
horse show. We will have a meeting in June, and
the date will be posted.
The rest of the evening was devoted primarily to
finalizing everything for the horse show.
The meeting was adjourned, and refreshments were
served. 8 members were in attendance.
