Minutes of General Meeting

The meeting was convened by President Traci Benstine at 6 pm.  Eleven people were present. It was decided to have the evening’s program first, followed by the business meeting.

Shelly Stevens introduced Dr. George Dawson, Equine Nutritionist for Cargill Animal Nutrition (Nutrena Feeds), who gave an interesting and enlightening presentation on feeding all types and ages of horses to insure good health and energy levels.  He offered to evaluate individual diets and advise on needed adjustments, either on-line or in a later visit.

The business meeting was called to order at 7:30 pm.  Shelly Stevens read the minutes of the general meeting held on Jan. 15.  Lois Rice gave the Treasurer’s report. Traci reported that the Club currently has 82 regular members and 10 youth members, as well as 4 adult and 9 youth associate members.
