SAPPHIRE ARABIAN HORSE CLUB is proud to host its 2008 ARABIAN COMMUNITY SHOW to be held at the Willowbend Farm in Turah, MT (east out of Missoula on I-90 at Exit 113) on Saturday, June 21, 2008. 

This show is OPEN TO ALL BREEDS.  There will be 48 classes in this show including Halter Class, Sport Horse, English/Saddle Seat, Hunt Seat, and Western.  This year's judge will be Laura Bakker (information on judge's background).  

Fees are $5.00 per class for youth (17 and under); $10.00 per class for adults (18 and over).  There is a maximum entry fee of $50.00 per horse and this allows you to enter any/all classes listed.  A  $10.00 office fee per horse.  All minors (17 and under) are required to wear a helmet while in the show ring and warm up ring.

If you would like to reserve a stall during the event, call Darlene Patterson at (406) 258-6246.  There is camping nearby at the Turah Camp Ground and Store for those interested in staying overnight.  Refreshments will be available on site. 

Arabian Horse Association (AHA) members riding registered Arabs, Half-Arabs, Anglo-Arabs can qualify for points toward the ACS Award Program.  The exhibitor (rider/driver/handler) must be a current AHA Youth member or an AHA Adult member and an amateur.  Professionals may participate in the classes, however, neither they, nor the horses they compete with will place or qualify for ACS points or Award Programs.
